Q8 Camera Board

Our high-performance image processing board is designed to work with the Q8 processor card that features two Camera Link interfaces (1x Base and 1x Medium). The Xiphos Q8 Camera Board is a Daughterboard for the Xiphos Q8 Processor Board. It allows the Q8 to be inserted into existing systems with high-bandwidth video or imagery streams. High-performance image processing algorithms can be run on the Q8 processor and FPGA.


The Q8 Camera Board card offers the following key features:

  • Gigabit Ethernet, Base Camera Link*, Medium Camera Link*, multiple serial interfaces (RS485, RS422), LVDS outputs, PPS inputs and output
Additional Functions:
  • Heater power control, temperature sensing
  • 150 x 110 x 10 mm (150 x 110 x 17 mm with Q8, no RJ-45 connector)
Input Voltage:
  • 9 to 13V
  • Can be configured as LVDS. Camera Link IP core available from Xiphos.
  • Linux SDK
  • Radiation effects mitigation & 30krad TID lifetime
